A Little Background
Shelly (Wozniak) Rosenquist was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay where she received her BFA (in fine art and graphic design) in 1995. Shortly after graduation, she participated in her first professionally juried fine art exhibit.
After a few years in Green Bay, Shelly received a scholarship to attend Archeworks, a graduate school in Chicago which focused on designing solutions to societal problems. She received her degree from Archeworks in 1997 and continued to live and work in Chicago until September of 2002, when she moved back to Milwaukee to be closer to family.
In 2003, Shelly was honored to be selected as one of six artists in the United States whose artwork was chosen to be used as a 2003 Easter Seal.
She is happily married to her husband, Lynn Rosenquist, and resides in Milwaukee with him and her son, Nolan and faithful dog, Ella.
